Collaborating With RC Coppin: A Step-By-Step Guide

 In Stonemason, The Stone Family

Before you make the decision to collaborate with your chosen stonemason, you’ll need to know exactly how they work. You don’t want to discover later down the line that you’ve been charged extra, or that the work is going to take longer than promised.

So that you’ll be assured that RC Coppin’s processes match your expectations, we’ve put together a step-by-step guide on what happens after you’ve decided to move ahead with your project.

Guaranteeing product perfection

Once you’ve picked your product, we’ll ensure it fits into the chosen area within your home or business premises. If a new kitchen or bathroom is on the cards, a floor plan can be analysed. For renovations, we’ll visit you to measure the area with perfect accuracy. And don’t worry about any extra charges – the consultation is completely free.

Selecting the sample to suit you

In our experience it’s always proven valuable to see the stone samples in all their glory. With over 2,000 slabs for inspiration, you can pick the one that most suits your project. We can take some along to your consultation, or you can visit our Essex showroom for the full array. Your personal Account Manager can offer answers to any questions and tailored advice about the different materials.

Securing your chosen slabs

Your slabs will be exclusive to you, and we’ll make sure to reserve the stones you’ve chosen for your stunning new space. Once your materials are secured with a deposit, no one else will be able to set their eyes upon them. Orders for those not in stock will also be placed at this point.

Starting the transformation

Templating is the first thing we’ll work on. This can begin from two weeks after booking your appointment with us and will require that all base units are installed and secured. The template technician will discuss every detail, and craft a wooden copy of fixtures (such as worktops) to ensure you’re aware of how it’ll fit within your space.

Producing your stones

Our technician then arrives back at the factory, relaying the requirements of your area to the company foreman, who manages the manufacturing process. The template is placed on your selected slab of material and cut around with diamond-coated plates to the highest industry standards, and your stones are made ready for delivery.

Satisfying your stone specification

Five to ten days after the template appointment, your stones will be installed. Your Account Manager will be in contact to ensure the installation date suits you. Then, to guarantee you’re happy with the results, we’ll ask you to sign a form confirming so. Only once we’ve got your validation will your final payment be taken.

Our process is completely transparent, straightforward and tailored to your precise needs. To book us in to transform any spaces within your property or business premises, contact RC Coppin today and tell us about the project you have in mind.
